A space to breathe...
Since I can remember, I have loved to beautify and style things, people an spaces…. I think having been able to attend The School of the Arts in Johannesburg, South Africa, had definitely given me a great foundation; enabling me to look at texture, composition, light & dark, shadows and shades in a practical way.
I only really started getting serious with my art when our daughter was born and a friend asked me to supply her baby shop with a few vintage style canvasses. It was a great creative outlet while being a stay-at-home mom and I sold many paintings in a few of these franchised baby shops over a couple of years. Since then, social media has literally erupted and has made it so much easier to reach a specifically targeted audience.
Quite recently, I discovered watercolours and have developed a great fondness of their ability to breathe life into my sketches! Mural paintings is another new addition to my repertoire, which I thoroughly enjoy.
I guess I am lucky in the sense that, as of yet, I don’t have a signature style, which means that I am quite comfortable in creating any look a client prefers.
I Just Love It has therefore now evolved from paintings, which were mainly purposed for baby and children’s rooms, to include a more mature audience and design style. It also doesn’t focus only on paintings, but dapples in various forms of artistic flair, involving a broad spectrum of ways and means to decorate walls so they create a lovely focal point to a room. Whether I finally get your family pics framed and hanged, that have been gathering dust on a shelf, get your unforgettable overseas trip’s photo’s printed on canvas or metal and finely displayed, or whether I have to create something totally unique to accentuate your bland wall, I Just Love It aims to help make your walls beautiful!
"I just love it!”
"Our girls are wild about their murals!”
"My green flower, on my bathroom wall, makes me very happy!”
"Lindi can do anything she puts her mind to!”
